Naeem undertook a medical rotation at the University Hospitals Cambridge. He subsequently gained MRCP and specialised in Neurology. He began his legal training in 2008 and gained a first-class honours degree in Law before working for a London law firm in the healthcare and litigation departments. Naeem joined MDDUS in 2013 having worked previously as a medico-legal adviser at another medical defence organisation. He was appointed as Head of Medical Division in February 2021.
