Nadia Ahmed is a consultant HIV and sexual health physician at the Mortimer Market Centre, London. She manages HIV outpatients, is medical lead for HIV inpatient liaison and the sexual function service. Nadia also practised as a forensic physician at The Havens, London. Her specialist interests lie in adolescent health, inpatient care, sexual function and gender based violence. Nadia enjoys service development having led on the implementation of adolescent youth friendly services and pre-exposure prophylaxis for adolescent girls and young women in public health facilities in Cape Town, South Africa. She has extensive undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience, from being course conveyor for an adolescent health course at the University of Cape Town to supporting GUM recruitment as the Royal College of Physicians Specialty champion representative. Nadia is passionate about international health, and completed clinical, service and educational work in in South Africa, Malawi, Bangladesh, Iran, Turkey and Sudan.
