Dr Yusuff trained in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine in the Northwestern deanery, Manchester. He underwent further training in cardiothoracic intensive care and ECMO at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge. He is a consultant at Gelnfield Hospital, a honorary senior lecturer in the department of respiratory sciences, Univertsity of Leicester. His research interestes include extracorporeal life support, right ventricular failure in critically ill patients and management of coagulopathy.
