Daniel Bromage

Consultant Cardiologist, King's College London
Dr Daniel Bromage is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at King’s College London and an Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He completed his MBChB at the University of Bristol in 2006 and undertook postgraduate training in the South West and London. He was awarded a PhD from University College London in 2016 for research into the role of stromal derived factor-1 in cardioprotection, which was funded by an MRC Clinical Research Fellowship. He then undertook an NIHR Clinical Lectureship focusing on remodelling after myocardial infarction, using both laboratory and human studies, with particular emphasis on the modulation of leucocyte recruitment. This led to an MRC Clinician Scientist Fellowship on the regulation of inflammation after myocardial infarction, using patient samples, in vivo models and cutting edge transcriptomic techniques. His interests include heart failure, cardio-immunology, and myocarditis.
