Speakers

Clark Russell is an ECAT Clinical Lecturer in Infectious Diseases at the University of Edinburgh Centre for Inflammation Research, and a registrar in Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. His main research interest is host defence against medically-important streptococci (including pneumococci) and Staphylococcus aureus; specifically macrophage microbicidal mechanisms and how these can be modulated therapeutically by host-directed therapies.
