Catherine Morgan joined NHS England (East of England) as Chief Nurse in March 2020. Following an early career working in a variety of specialities in acute medicine she then spent a significant part of her career in renal medicine in London and the East of England supporting research and service transformation as a Consultant Nurse. She has worked as an Executive Chief Nurse in a number of acute Trusts and has a particular interest in supporting quality improvement and workforce development in challenged organisations. Catherine was awarded an OBE for contribution to nursing services in the 2021 New Year’s Honours.
