During his training he undertook further qualifications in medical leadership and has published multiple patient safety posters and articles. He was appointed as a consultant in the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust in 2020. During these three years he has been appointed as the governance lead for critical care medicine and is leading a project to find difficult asthmatics in the community and fast-track them onto biologic therapy. Outside of medicine he is a father to three wonderful children, a [self-proclaimed] connoisseur of board games and a passionate coach of the mighty U11s Oxford Harlequins rugby team.
