I will explore the key features of the history that suggest a TIA and those features that point towards an alternative diagnoses. There has, over the last two years, a been new definition of TIA and clarification of the importance of some symptoms not classically attributed to TIAs. I hope to touch on some new recommendations from the 2023 NICE stroke guidelines.
