Perioperative Prehab Perspective

16 Nov 2022
ACC Theatre A
The fundamental goal of Individualized Exercise Oncology Prehabilitation is to improve and optimize the care for tumor patients in order to positively influence quality of life in a sustainable manner. The overarching goal is to increase scientific evidence and general knowledge about prehabilitation and the importance of a physically active lifestyle and ultimately contribute to better, evidence-based and individually tailored prevention and treatment of highly distressing symptoms in cancer patients. The focus aims to personalize movement therapy in cancer patients, particularly targeting intensively treated and severely ill (hemato)-oncology patients.
